Why work with me?

Since obtaining my Master’s of Social Work and my NYS License in 2003, I have worked in a variety of clinical settings such as a counseling center, a medical day program for adults, group based therapy and  home-based early intervention with young children and families.  Over the years I have worked with individuals with mental health issues,  those struggling with chronic illness, and medically frail or developmentally challenged individuals.

My mission and vision both personally and professionally is to assist others in making lasting changes in their lives through the use of a combination of relaxation, meditation and hypnotherapy.  I utilize a Strength-Based, Solution Focused, BioPsychoSocial framework.

Hypnosis can assist those struggling with issues related to anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, chronic illness or pain, phobias, weight issues, smoking cessation and many more.

Please contact me by text or phone at 585-317-0241 or at sarahypnotherapist@gmail.com to ask a question or schedule an appointment.  Weekday, weekend or evening appointments can be made available.

  1. Hi Sara. It’s Tracy Maier. I would love to refer patients to you. What email address should I give to patients? Do you have any business cards that I could hand out? Do you work with insurance like Medicaid and Blue Choice option?

    1. I don’t take insurance, but will offer them a lower rate if needed. I’ll try to mail you some business cards☺ Thanks again!

      1. Wonderful. I am sure I can come up with patients for you. There’s so much mental health in Pediatrics these days. My office address is 353 Island Cottage Road 14612. You can send the business cards there.
